The Las Vegas Aces unveiled new uniforms this week, ditching their previous red, black and gold color scheme for the silver and black of the Las Vegas Raiders, who are also owned by Mark Davis.

The white Heroine Edition uniform – similar to the NBA’s Association set – prominently displays a silver “Aces” wordmark outlined in black above matching numbers, as well as a silver collar and arm holes.

The black Rebel Edition uniform, meanwhile, features a silver, arched “Las Vegas” wordmark outlined in white and a silver collar and arm holes. Both jerseys also have a contrasting triangular design under the arms.

It’s effectively the same design as what the back-to-back WNBA champions have worn for the last three seasons, including the design on the shorts that is pulled from their primary logo, just rendered in the new color scheme.

This isn’t the first time the franchise has worn silver and black, as they were the San Antonio (Silver) Stars before relocating to Las Vegas and rebranding in 2018. That, of course, matched their NBA counterpart, the San Antonio Spurs.

That said, the Aces still have another uniform design up their sleeves, as they have not yet revealed their Explorer Edition set. It will have a red base, though, as the the color is reportedly still a “core part of the Aces’ winning identity.”
