The Missoula PaddleHeads, an independent professional baseball team in Montana, introduced a wintertime “PowderHeads” alternate identity today with two logos featuring their moose character engaging in winter sports enjoyed by the people of the Missoula and Western Montana at large. The logos were created by Brandiose.
When the PaddleHeads rebranded from their Missoula Osprey identity in 2019, their logo set inclued activities more commonly associated with the summertime—appropriate given that baseball is a summer sport. The new PowderHeads identity, which will be worn for select games during the 2024 season, features skiing and snowboarding.
“The PowderHeads is a continuation of our PaddleHeads rebrand,” explained PaddleHeads President Matt Ellis. “Our PaddleHeads brand and logos were designed to celebrate Missoula’s lifestyle and culture whether you like floating the river, fly fishing, or are a fan of the iconic peace sign on Waterworks hill. The PowderHeads embody our latest set of logos to honor what makes Missoula and Western Montana one of the greatest places to live in the world.”
The PowderHeads, members of the independent Pioneer League, will take the field in 2024.
