Confirming a leak from earlier this month, the NBA has officially unveiled the uniforms for the 2024 All-Star Game, which will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Feb. 18.

Naturally, the designs pull inspiration from the hosts, with a sublimated pinstripe pattern on the blue or red base that is reminiscent of the Indiana Pacers’ 1997-2005 uniforms.

The front of the jerseys prominently display a cream-colored All-Star wordmark above a star-shaped logo, which weaves in racing stripes from the Pacers’ primary mark and the All-Star logo.

There are five stars on the sides of the jerseys, which represent the number of players per team on the court at a given time, as well as 12 stars on the shorts to represent the All-Stars on each roster.

This marks our first glimpse at the shorts, which carry over the sublimated pinstripes, while the striping pattern from the collar and arm holes also appear on the waistband, sides and bottom.

The star-shaped All-Star logo that’s on the front and below the back collar of the jersey is also included in a large circle on the left leg, which is a nod to downtown Indianapolis’ Monument Circle.

At the center of Monument Circle stands the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, which commemorates the Hoosiers who served in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and Civil War, among others.

The Jordan Brand uniforms are complete with a new “ASG” monogram on the waistband, which is “inspired by the graphical originals of basketball,” and a KIA logo on the left shoulder.

The 73rd annual NBA All-Star Game marks the return of the East vs West format after six seasons with team captains, which is why the base colors of the uniforms are blue and red, respectively.

The starters for each team will be announced during TNT’s Thursday night studio show, which starts at 7 p.m. and leads into the Miami Heat hosting the Boston Celtics.

Lastly, both teams will wear “old-school, Hoosier-inspired” shirts during pregame warmups. They are half blue and half red with pinstripes, as well as a cream-colored stripe with blue stars down the side.
