Real Betis Upcycles Last Season’s Unsold Kits Into New Fashion Line – SportsLogos.Net News

La Liga club Real Betis has taken a novel approach to repurposing unsold kits from last season.

The club has teamed up with designers Equipo FC to introduce a new line of apparel that takes unsold kits from recent seasons and turns them into fashion items, including jackets, shirts and bags.

The items went on sale on Real Betis’s website on Tuesday, November 21.

A bomber jacket selling for €165 reuses a special edition kit produced during the 2020-21 season. The green and white stripes contain the names of season ticket holders who chose to donate their payments to the club to help it through the COVID-19 pandemic.

A button-up shirt uses the club’s 2022-23 home kit and retails for €100. It’s very similar to other button-ups that Equipo FC produces using other kits from around Europe.

A women’s crop top reuses Betis’s away kit from 2022-23, adding an elastic cuff at the bottom. It sells for €80.

Both the fanny pack and the shoulder bag sell for €80 and combine the green-and-white home kit from 2022-23 with the orange third kit from the same season.
